RECITAL SEASON = THE BEST SEASON!

At NLC Dance Company, our recitals are the highlight of our season! Our recitals give dancers the special opportunity to take the stage, build confidence, and showcase everything they have worked on — in both December AND June! Performing in front of family and friends helps dancers not only grow as performers, but as confident, expressive individuals!

WHY TWO RECITALS?

We host two recitals each season. Our Christmas Show in December celebrates the joy of the holidays, while providing dancers with an exciting mid-season performance experience. Our Year-End Recital in June features a unique theme each year, bringing the entire studio together for a memorable, full-scale production. The beauty of our Christmas Show is the confidence it brings dancers before their Year-End Recital performance — performing without costume, this recital introduces dancers to the environment, organization, and physical understanding of what it's like to dance on the big stage! Following this performance, dancers feel more confident, comfortable, and excited to participate in our Year-End Recital. From our tiny steppers in Creative Movement to our show-stopping Adult Classes, every member of NLC participates and LOVES recital season!

Recital season is a celebration of progress — in hosting two recitals, NLC Dance Company provides dancers the opportunity to perform on stage in a supportive, professional environment. From costumes and lighting to cheering audiences, dancers experience the excitement of performing while building confidence and stage presence.
